Jane Austen and the Navy
Two hundred years ago saw the posthumous publication of Jane Austen's 'Sailors' novel Persuasion. During Jane's time in Southampton in the household of her brother Captain Francis Austen, Jane met many naval officers and Admirals.  Find out about some of the influence for her novel.
